Laser Therapy
A cold laser is an infrared laser that penetrates muscle and bone safely without heat, stimulating photobiomodulation to help cells convert laser energy into chemical energy and promote healing for many conditions. By adjusting the laser’s wavelength, we can effectively target specific issues and optimize particular neural pathways.

What is a cold laser?
A cold laser is an infrared laser which is able to penetrate through layers of tissue, including muscle and bone, without generating heat. When the laser encounters a tissue, it induces something called photobiomodulation, or more simply, the energy of the laser is converted by the cells into chemical energy which they can then use to power their innate repair mechanisms at the molecular level. It’s a bit like giving your cells a big cup of coffee. They always had the ability to regenerate and heal, but now they have the energy reserves to make it happen quickly. This can help drastically accelerate the body’s natural healing process for conditions ranging from sciatica to musculoskeletal issues.
How does a cold laser assist neurology?
When a cold laser is used along with neurologically focused chiropractic, the energy in the photons that pass through the skull are taken up by the cells that comprise the neural pathways. These cells can then begin to repair themselves and lay down new proteins to strengthen the neural connections that our body needs to function. The brain’s pathways fire at specific wavelengths, so by changing the wavelength of the laser, we can target particular conditions and strengthen specific pathways.
